Breathing out the old...writing it down and burning it...setting intentions to release...screaming at the top of your lungs...writing a letter saying goodbye to someone/something/idea/way of being etc....stating it out loud so that it verbally and vibrationally resonates with the Universe that YOU ARE F*CKING LETTING GO!!

I've been there. We've all been there. And these are all powerful tools of release and for ritually saying goodbye. They somehow physically "mark" an ending of one thing and the beginning of another. Which sometimes our human minds need. But what if all of these acclamations and rituals are instead making that thing...that essence/relationship/entity/job/habit/fill in the blank with whateveryounolongerdesire..what if instead it is making it louder? What if it is becoming more dramatic than it truly needs to be? What if we are spending more action and intention on acknowledging what we have become so attached to, that we are not cosmically aligning ourself with that which we do want?

What if it truly is simply letting go. Opening your hand and allowing the energy that you have been holding onto...to simply...float away.

Like a breath.

Like a wave.

Like a gust of wind that carries it off your chest...into the clouds...and you...

and you can breath again.

Close your eyes. Take a deep breath. And know...know that that which no longer serves you was a blessing and a gift. Honor it. Cherish it. Thank it/them. And then exhale and release. You my darling, are already free.
